This is made possible by a strong research infrastructure and well-regulated healthcare system, including unique biobanks and national cancer registries. Awarded "Norwegian Centre of Expertise" status in 2007, Oslo Cancer Cluster's 40 members have a combined pipeline of close to 50 projects, making it one of the strongest outside the pharmaceutical industry.
