The MEDITNOR industry network operates as a membership organisation for Norwegian Medtech and ICT companies under the auspices of KITH (national competence center for eHealth). They benefit from strong links to the university (NTNU), other academic centres and the health institutions in the county of Trøndelag. While having a regional focus, about 30% of their members come from outside the region.
The main objective of the cluster is to increase visibility for Norwegian medtech innovations in local and international markets. Nationally, the network is an arena for learning and dialog and supports several meetings and conferences. Furthermore, MedITnor works actively to support R&D collaboration, stimulate company partnerships and bring complementary technologies and skills together.
MedITnor is actively seeking international partnership opportunities for its members, as well as general collaboration with other innovation clusters.
